The easiest way you can follow to convert a picture or image from JPG (also known as JPEG) to .GIF format. Microsoft Paint is the easiest program you can use to convert a JPG image into GIF. Simply run the program which usually located at Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint.
1. Go to File on top left of Paint interface.
2. Click Open and search for JPG file you wish to convert.
3. Go to File again and select Save as.
4. Click the drop down menus Save as type and select the format you want. You can convert the picture into GIF, TIFF, BMP and PNG.
