What is Beta Software?
Definition of beta software: A commercial software went through beta stage before it is actually released to the market or public. During this phase, the software or application is tested for errors, bugs, inconsistencies, crashes and other kind of problems. Sometimes beta software is released to public for free, and individual or company who use the beta program will send reports to developers on any errors they might find, so that the developer can improve the software. However, often developer of the beta software will not responsible for any damage which might occurs as mentioned in the terms and conditions. Free beta software usually expire after certain period of time. Beta software can be easily recognized from its name, usually with "Beta" or "b".
