There are few reasons if your Trial Kaspersky Anti Virus not updated automatically. One of them is your trial might already expired. You can only update it either by purchasing the antivirus, downloading and installing other anti virus or completely uninstall trial Kaspersky (together with the paths and registries) and install it again.
Automatic updating requires connection to the Internet. If you are behind a proxy you should set up the proxy setting in the anti virus program. Sometimes this problem occurs due to your firewall program blocking the updating process, so set an exception usually solve the problem.
You can try to restart your PC and router, then try to update Kaspersky again. However, if you still facing the problem, you can try to update at a later time. Sometimes your Internet Service Provider or ISP is having problems while connecting to Kaspersky server or might be the publisher's server is having temporary problem.
